Science Fic

This is going to sound really really weird, but I just had to ask.

Does anyone know of any good fic with actual science or mathematical based theories?

You see I just read a fic that made me cringe at their use of science terminology, not that it can not be helped sometimes impulse engines, photon torpedoes, flux capacitors, but this time it really got to me. Then I realized that I have hardly run across any fic with the science has being prevalent factor.

This is STAR TREK there should be advance mathematics and physics up the wazoo! I remember some old Stargate fic that were awesome about showing the math and physics that was such an integrated part of the fandom. Where are those fics?
