Vulcan-like Kirk TOS or Reboot!

Hello everyone :)

I've seen time and again fics where by some kind of circumstance (malfunctioning transporter, alien tech, ect) Spock's human side takes over, subduing his vulcan-like nature. So I was wondering....

Are there any fics where, for whatever reasons, Kirk becomes subdued, reserved, and for all purposes "emotionless" like our favorite vulcan?  I'm especially interested in how Kirk, now without superfluous feelings, might think that nothing is wrong with his current state as long as he is still fit to command and how his crew would react to him (especially Spock).

Either TOS or Reboot universe would be fine and I'm not picky about the pairing!!

Please let me know if anything like this is out there! ><
