Psychic kirk

All I remember is that there is a running joke about Kirk having some sort of psychic power. I believe at one point it is mentioned that he hacked the star fleet database to remove his esper scores. kirk just likes to say he is especially charming. It is not the main point of the story, but I can't remember what story it is in.

Along the same theme I will take any recs with Kirk having some sort of mental power. I have read the wonderful Tangled Destiny by Keira Macros already. And have reread it multiple times.

Hmmm. Sounds like it might be Chase820's Secret Vulcan Mating Rituals, which you can find here: http://archiveofourown.org/works/50527/chapters/66565

If it's not, it's still an excellent piece of work and does fit into your criteria. Be warned, though, it's veeeery dark and also incomplete. Last update was on 2012-02-05 but the author says she'll finish it, so I'm hopeful *shrugs*

A telepathic Kirk arranges for his psi rating to continuously reset to psi-null in his medical records in Supernova (http://archiveofourown.org/works/663847) by Fujoshi_Girl. It's briefly mentioned in Chapter 6.

Be aware that if it's not the one you're remembering that it's a WIP, contains the (possibly temporary?) death of Jim, and hasn't been updated in quite some time.

Supernova is awesome, even though it is WIP. It wasn't it though. The story I'm thinking of is pre STID. Thanks for all the recs though. I enjoyed the couple I had not read before and enjoyed rereading the ones I hadn't bookmarked.

Sounds like You'll Get There in the End, It Just Takes A While, by Seperis, and its sequel.

One of my top favorite fics in this fandom, not least because of the telepathy element.
