startrekficfinderHello! Like in the title. I read it twice by now I think, but unfortunately I didn't save the link or the title anywhere...
The plot is more or less about how Enterprise is on some mission and the crew, captain need to retrieve some specific information, but if they went around it normal way it would take a long time. And Jim isn't a person who likes to wait and do things bureucratic way, if he can do so quickly and with a risk to his health. He drops a hint to Spock, Spock follows him and finds him in a shady bar, drinking some super potent substance. There is some Andorian dealer who has this information Jim is looking for. But there are also some super chiseled guys who want to well, man handle Jim. Spock enters into feral, pre-reform Vulcan mode, rescues Jim by claiming him and kissing him like HELLA and also mind melding briefly with Andorian guy and getting all the information.
I'm not sure what happens afterwards, but I think Spock was explaining that it was all done very logically and he's totally not hot and bothered for Jim....
I'm 99% sure I read it on ksarchive. And that it was written before 2009, but yeah, I don't really remember.
