FOUND - Kirk is a secret Vulcan language protogé - specific fic search

Hello all,
Looking for a fic where Kirk is a secret protogé of an academy Vulcan language teacher who eventually dies. At the will reading, Uhura shouts something to the effect of "it's you!" when the (video?) will reveals this. I think that the fic starts with the teacher calling Kirk out on his attempts to hide his already advanced proficiency in Vulcan but disliking his accent, but this may be from another fic. Given what I read, was eventual slash, likley of the K/S variety. Sound familiar to anyone?
