Lost fic: Kirk/Spock

So I've lost a fic and have tried everything I thought of to find it, but no luck... It was Kirk/Spock, with a situation where the entire crew lost something like impulse control / completely fixated on one idea because of an illness or something... I remember that Kirk and Spock were infected, but managed to keep it together long enough to save the ship (I think the illness was fatal).

I don't remember if it was a stand-alone or a scene in a longer fanfic though... Can someone help me?

Is it one of the re-workings of the TOS episode The Naked Time? i.e. most of the crew loses inhibitions and the sickness is spread by touch; Sulu with a sword; Spock crying; K/S goodness; McCoy searches for antidote; engines been shut down so need a cold start to stop ship from spiralling down to the collapsing planet (I think Psi 2000?) and K/S manage to regain enough control of themselves to save everyone?

If that's the one then I can send you links to a few versions?
