Kirk/Bones All Time Fav Recs

Hi everyone, totally new to this journal so forgive any mistakes. I want to start reading Bones/Kirk fics (I've only ever read Kirk/Spock) and would love any and all recs of your favs. Here's a few specifications.

* Angsty hurt comfort stuff
* Long/Epic length
* I prefer the intense relationships over light fluffy ones
* Hurt!Kirk, Low self esteem!Kirk...y'know the ones.
* No death fics or genderbending.
* AO3 if possible.

The Basics of Primary Ed 'Verse (http://archiveofourown.org/series/45901) by Caera1996.
It's angsty, intense, definitely epic (two long fics, about 20 short ones, and another long one in progress) and on AO3.
It's also modern day AU - which I never go for (I didn't even like Bones/Kirk before this) - but really, really give it a go, she's one of the best authors I've read in a long time, and the story hooks you in, even if you think you don't have the slightest interest in it.
And then make sure to visit the author's live journal page, http://caera1996.livejournal.com/?skip=10&tag=the%20basics%20of%20primary%20ed. as she has some shorter stories there that aren't on AO3, especially Crash (http://caera1996.livejournal.com/52260.html).
She's also written Kirk/Bones that isn't AU, so I'd check out all her work. I can especially recommend the With You (http://archiveofourown.org/series/45845) series.
There's also the Jim_and_Bones community on lj (http://jim-and-bones.livejournal.com), which has links to lots of fic, archives, daily photos etc - you need to ask to join, just as with this page, but well worth it.
