Hi guys!
A while back, I read a really good Spirk fic but I couldn't find it again now. Unfortunately, I'm fuzzy on the details and I might be smashing two fics into one, so I will divide the details into two sections. I'm pretty sure it was on AO3 but not 100% sure.
What I do know, is that the fic takes place post-Star Trek into Darkness. Jim is recovering from being...well, dead and brought back to life. He did not want to stay in the hospital, and for some reason he couldn't stay with Bones. Spock offers to let Jim stay at his place, which surprises Jim a lot. He is initially hesitant but ultimately accepts Spock's offer.
While Jim stays at Spock's place, he meets Spock's housekeeper who makes food and organizes them in well-labeled boxes. I distinctly remember a scene where Jim goes to get juice in the kitchen and spills the juice when her presense surprises him. While they are cleaning up, Spock catches them and looks disapproving. It is from the housekeeper's reaction that Jim realizes the housekeeper has a crush on Spock.
There is also a scene where Uhura visits and tells Jim that she needs to talk to Spock. She also reveals that Vulcans are very private and Spock letting Jim in his living space is A Big Deal. I believe Uhura and Spock have a fight that Jim doesn't know the detail of, and I don't remember what happens after that.
I'm not sure if I am combining fics together, but I definitely would appreciate finding the fic with the housekeeper again. Let me know if this rings a bell!!
Thanks!
