Anyone know any fics where chekov is portrayed as the genius he is, or gets to kick ass like the rest of the crew. Basically, im tired of woobie Chekov. Whump is fine, so long as hes no damsel in distress. No pairings is preferable, but anything is fine.

'Big Damn Heroes' Illogical series #14 by Waldorph. You can find her on A03. Checkoff is featured here, and he is a genius, and brave though he doesn't think so, and he does get rescued but he also holds out, and keeps himself and Kirk alive. I love this story down to my bones. It also features bamf Kirk. Happy reading.
