Kirk/Spock Bonded but don't know it - Found!

I read a fic a long time ago where Kirk is obsessed with Spock but doesn't know why. Spock is still with Uhura and keeps rejecting Kirk's offers of chess, etc. Kirk becomes more depressed, and the main thing I remember is Spock finally buying a clue and saying "I'm sorry, t'hy'la. I came as soon as I could."

I know for sure it's not Obsession by awarrington. It's driving me up the wall trying to find it.

That's a good one, but that's not it, either. If I remember it right, it's told from Kirk's POV.
