Survival Fic

I've been looking for this fic where Kirk crashes alone on a planet that the Enterprise was sent to survey. He was on the shuttle with a few other people but they died during the crash and he ends up surviving alone on the planet for awhile. There was also this weird time distortion thing, the planet was spinning too fast for life to be sustained but down on the planet time moved way slower so Kirk was down there for like a month. He ended up befriending one of the developing aliens un the planet and they save each other a few times. There was also this weird nocturnal spider thing that tried to kill them a few times. Tarsus IV might have been mentioned at one point, but I'm not sure.

I don't remember anything else that would be of help.
