riverside au story

Hi. I recently lost my files and am trying to find them again.
The story I am looking for today is one where Jim and Winona run a garage in Riverside and Jim regularly gets in trouble with the law (something to do with cows rings a bell). Spock comes to Earth and becomes a deputy in Riverside rather than joining the academy. In the early part of the story Spock is introduced to the town by another officer (might be the sheriff). Eventually Spock and Jim meet when Spock brings his cruiser to get repaired at the garage. Eventually Jim soups it up enough it can fly to Vulcan!
Hope this is enough detail for someone to remember it.
