Looking for a Kirk and Spock Fic from a while ago

So I don’t exactly remember the whole story but I remember that Jim was super depressed in the fic because Spock and him had broken up? Or broken their bond? I don’t remember why but I do remember a specific scene in the story where Kirk and Spock went to a Sehlat adoption center I think on Vulcan and played with the baby cubs. And Kirk did end up adopting one. I really can’t remember more of the fanfic but I’ve been trying to find it everywhere and I just can’t seem to remember where it is or even the name.
