As the story progresses, Bones tells Jim how to touch them as well. Eventually leads to Bones watching and telling Jim and the people he picks up at the bar how to have sex. I don't remember if Jim and Leonard actually have sex together.

Read it a year or two ago, I think on AO3. May have been FFnet.
