Hey! Sorry about this. I've misplaced a fic. I can't remember too much of it, though. Bones gets a vid from Jocelyn, who has this plan to get him to come to Earth. Maybe she wants to try again? There is a Starfleet facility somewhere around where she lives, so she asks them if they'd take him and they are all excited, so she tells him about, also saying that he could spend lots of time with Joanna. Bones can't decide what to do about it.
In any case, Jim finds it (by snooping), and freaks. He doesn't say anything to anyone, but he's slowly dying inside. Bones is avoiding him, he's avoiding everone, etc.
In the end, Bones finds out why Jim's acting off, and says he wasn't planning on leaving. It was all very happy at the end, but angsty through everything else. I feel like I read this at the kink meme, but I can't find it there, so maybe not.
I appreciate any help you can give me. Thank you!
