Firstly I just want to to thank all those who take the time (and have decent recall) to post answers on this site, you've been an absolute godsend to a new (and very fussy) Star Trek reader.

Okay, onto business,
I'm looking for any fic in which Jim struggles against a hug/cuddle or embrace.
For any reason and with anyone.

Preference is Bones, followed closely by Spock.

Whether he thinks he doesn't deserve the comfort, doesn't want the comfort or doesn't like close contact are just a few examples....

Please help this reader find something to satiate this strange hankering (I kinda like that word).

Spock cheats...

Hey! So I'm looking for a fic...obviously. :)

It's a ST XI fic. What I remember is that Spock and Jim are dating (I think they were from the very beginning), and on either a shore leave or mission Spock sleeps with a Vulcan woman not because he wants to but in order to reproduce and further the Vulcan race. Jim finds out and breaks up with Spock because he thought they were in a serious relationship and, obviously, being cheated on is a huge betrayal. Everyone is pissed at Jim instead of Spock because they think that Jim is the one who cheated, given his reputation. He just puts up with it, but Uhura figured it out and essentially asks him if she needs to kick Spock's ass for hurting him, since that's what Jim asked her when they had broken up. Eventually I know Jim breaks down from dealing with everyone and yells at people in the mess about how for once he wasn't the one who screwed up, Spock was.

I'm pretty sure there was a happy ending. Any ideas? Thanks a bunch in advance!

I remember reading a genderswapped RPF where Chris and Zach are girls and Chris keeps being forcd to go out with men by her publicist even though she is in love with Zach.

Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Spock Prime bringing Jim up

I had this idea today, and now I wonder whether anyone wrote it. What if Spock Prime got to the Reboot universe several years earlier, somehow escaped from Nero/Delta Vega, discovered that young Jim Kirk is abused/unhappy with his current parents, and ended up bringing him up? Do stories like this exist?
