Looking for some Jim fics

Hi I'm looking for two types of fics:

1) Where Sarek or Amanda don't approve of Spock dating Jim

2)Fics where Jim is adopted by somebody



I'm also looking for a fic I read some time ago in it Jim had a watch that beep at specific times to remind him to eat and I think that he was also hiding food in his room ( or maybe that happens on a different fic).

Kirk/Spock Angst - Found

I'm looking for a K/S fic where Kirk had to make the decision to give up Spock's telepathy or his love for his bondmate in order to save his life. He chooses the love. The fallout isn't pretty. There is a lot of angst with Spock feeling guilty that he couldn't feel anything for Kirk anymore and Kirk just being excruciatingly miserable. The fic is a WIP (or was one when I last read it). Has anyone come across it? Thank you so much for your time!
