Spock/Jim fic where Jim has been missing for about a year and Spock was the new captain. They recieve a transmission and find him but he was turned into an infant. Eventually we find out that he was never really found and was still captured by the enemy and the kid Jim was a hologram. It was complete.

The fic starts with baby!Jim holding kid!Spock the first time they meet. Spock becomes kid!Jim's favorite person, while they were growing up. I think Jim's and Spock's families were living across the street from each other? Their families are friends, for sure.

I remember this particular scene: Spock wanted to concentrate in reading articles in his PADD, so he sneaks off to the attic or bathroom or somewhere while Jim is watching TV. When he comes back, Jim is crying and frightened, and that's when he resolved to never make Jim cry ever again. Super cute and fluffy.

They become eventual bondmates oyeah.

Oh, and McCoy is Spock's classmate! TinyJim becomes jelly and stakes his claim all over a bemused Spock, ugh, did I mention it's so cute?

A few months ago I posted a request for a specific de-aged Kirk story. I'm still looking for it.

Okay the story is Jim is de-aged by either the transporter or something down on a planet (I can't remember how exactly) and Spock finds out when he comes down to the transporter. Up until this point, Spock hates Jim because Nyota told Spock that Jim was a horrible human being. Spock actually tells McCoy in the story that he essentially thinks Jim is a horrible, immature person. Spock continues to somewhat hold this belief for 1-2 chapters in the story. (There is background Spock/Uhura in this story and Uhura actually hates when Spock begins to spend time with Jim.) Spock is also told by McCoy that Jim's mother died as the Captain of the Farrugat when Vulcan was destroyed.

As the story progresses, Jim spends time with Spock and does not like to be parted from him. Jim even manages to escape Nurse Chapel (who Jim was left with) to go up to the bridge when Spock just so happens to be talking to an Admiral. Spock chastises Jim for doing this and says children have no place on the bridge (echoing what the Admiral told Spock).

The last two chapters of the story (the last time I saw it), has Jim getting kidnapped off the ship by Orion pirates/some other set of aliens who are also holding Vulcans. Spock feels his parental instincts flair to life and goes after his "child." He finds Jim being held by a Vulcan female who is attempting to keep the child warm. When Spock gets Jim back to the Enterprise, he refuses to leave Jim's bedside. When Uhura comes in and states that he should just leave Jim, Spock states he will not and that they need to talk about their relationship.

Can anyone help me find this story? I last saw it on FF.net. (I know it isn't "You are my Sunshine.")

Hi Everyone,

I'm pretty new the fandom and I've just read the Tangled Destinies Series by Keira Marcos.

I was pretty much blown over by the fics and was wondering if there are any other of these types of fics out there? I've read Constellations - but I was hoping for something long and at least partially set in the AOS movies.

If I remember correctly, I think it was an old kink meme fic from around when ST XI first came out. The whole crew's deaged to just around pre-adolescence (~ten years, I think?) and Kirk writing a list of things into his captain's log (I think of things he can't do? Or a list of why he's awesome, something of that sort.) It's pretty cracky with some thrown-in Kirk/McCoy and Sulu/Chekov.

I remember there was this whole part about how Sulu had stacked books about corn and fencing underneath his chair so he could reach the helm, and Kirk asked to read one of the books sometime (the corn one) and Sulu mistakenly thinks he means the fencing one.

I recently lost all my ST bookmarks, and I really just want to figure out what the name is. Thanks!

Hi guys,

I'm looking for a Kirk/McCoy AU which starts before the series. I think it starts out with teenage McCoy as Kirk's babysitter, and has McCoy's mother adopting Kirk? Read it a long time ago!

I do also remember that they developed an attraction to each other and McCoy was making Kirk wait until he was 18, although they both found it difficult, lol. Not entirely sure it was ever finished, either.

Any help would be much appreciated!

I've been on a binge of K/S fics lately, that take place in AUs where Kirk and Spock meet as kids/teens and grow up either in a relationship or into one as they hit their early twenties. I'd love to read some more if anyone has recs:

Just general stuff like:

Jim lives with Spock's family as a kid.
As kids they meet and form a spontaneous bond and therefore cannot and will not be separated.
They meet as teens and there's an immediate attraction.
They attend the same school, or social events and form a relationship from there.
Arranged marriage-bonding.
They meet at the academy and immediately hook up/get married-bonded.
(Would prefer bottom!Kirk stories, though swapping who's the bottom fics are good too).

Any fics along those types of line really, happy with any length - from one-shot, to short, to long, to wholly cow, that's a novel length epic right there. If any one could rec some fics like this i'd be really grateful :)

Hi All,

I used to read a lot of DS9 fic, but have gotten away from it. I am looking for a story that featured Julian. He is forced to relive a bad experience of his childhood. In this story he had a twin sister Jessie who was killed by terrorists when his father was posted as ambassador on an alien planet. As an adult, the same man who killed his sister is on the station. I know this is at least 9-10 years old and havent had any luck finding it. Thanks for any help.

I'm looking for an AU that I read recently, not sure if it was on AO3, the KSA or elsewhere; it's an AU where Spock comes through the black hole at the same time as Nero, and watches the Kelvin and Nero's ship destroy each other. Wait, maybe he comes through shortly after and discovers the ships have destroyed each other? I can't remember!

He establishes himself within the universe and discovers that Jim has survived but both his parents are dead (maybe Jim wasn't on the ship, and neither was Winona?). He adopts Jim and begins to raise him as his own, discovering that he has been badly mentally traumatised by the deaths of his parents.

Two scenes I distinctly remember: him teaching Jim how to crawl by physically demonstrating such, when a social worker comes for a surprise visit and lets herself into the house and catches him at it. And their being on Vulcan, living in a little place on a lake opposite Amanda and Sarek's holiday home - Jim and Spock Prime visit Amanda and baby Spock and baby Spock bites Jim's finger.

Anyone recognise this?

Hello Star Trek fandom! It's been awhile! Therefore, I am looking for some stuff to get me back into Jim/Bones fanfic. Specifically, there is this one Tarsus fic I cannot find for the life of me and all I remember of it is Jim taking language lessons. Which, I realize, may describe MANY Tarsus fics...so send me all of them. :-D

Alternatively, any long, angsty (with happy endings) Jim&Bones centric (romantic or platonic) fics are welcome. I uh...went a little cray with the tags...but I figured instead of listing everything I like here I could just do it there. :)

The only things I can remember are vague, sorry about that. It was a WIP last I knew, but it could be finished now. I can recall that is was a long, and well written story where somehow Kirk, as a child, ended up on Vulcan and staying with Spock and his family. Kirk was even attended school with Spock.
At the school Kirk was a few levels below Spock, and was going quickly through the material to reach Spock's level. I do remember that Kirk had to deal with a lot of discrimination against his intelligence and emotionalism from the teachers and other students. Spock certainly did not like Kirk originally either.
Spock and Kirk had a place they would go to sometimes. An oasis, or some sort of secret location only they knew about. Lots of meaningful conversations took place there. One in particular was some sort of disagreement (possibly when the were older, 20 many) and caused Kirk to leave Vulcan? I know that there was a fight (about Starfleet maybe?) and it created a rift between the two. They didn't speak again until the events of the movie.
During the movie, when Vulcan and/or Amanda was in danger Kirk was said something about them being his home/family too even if he hadn't been in years.

I want to say that this was K/S slash, but I'm not sure.

Looking for a fic in which the Narada appears in orbit over Vulcan while Spock is till a kid and the Captain demands that Spock be turned over to him. However it happens Spock comes onboard, and it turns out that the "Captain" is Kirk, also a child. Nero kidnapped Kirk, either from the shuttle, or from Iowa, and eventually Jim figures out whats going on as a kid and manages to get rid of the crew and take over the ship. Following this, he remembered that Nero had mentioned Spock repeatedly and so Jim went looking for him. Thats all I remember, but any and all help finding this would be greatly appreciated

Hey. I'm trying to find a fic I read a whiole ago, and it seems I forgot to bookmark it. I do know that it was a WIP

I remember that Jim had run away from home, but just to see an exhibit on the Kelvin, because Winona wouldn't go. Spock found him, and they hit it off. Spock puts a tracker in Jim's head(?). Then Jim is kiddnapped by some Romuluns, and Pike Sarek, Amanda, and Spock go after him.

I've been going slightly mad...

I'm looking for a fic where Spock was de-aged and took a major shine to Bones, which Jim, of course, found this hilarious. Spock hated everybody and had created a shit list. He kicked a few people, if memory serves...

I had it in my bookmarks as something like "you want to stand by my side (darling, your head's night right)", but I'm not sure whether this was the title or the Journal. Can't find it anywhere!

I am looking for some de-aged Kirk or Spock, where the other has to take care of him. I would like for them to either be in a relationship prior to the de-aging or start one after the de-aging is reversed, but I definitely wont turn down pre-slash or friendship fics.
