Hey you guys, can you help me find a fic where Jim never joins Starfleet... It's a very good story, and so far as I know, it's very well known, but for the life of me, I can't remember the name or author.

It's a K/S, where Jim refuses to join the academy, instead becomes a bartender. Yet, he is a math genious, and sneaks periodically into Spocks class to solve complicated equations, Spock is intrigued, and gets to know Jim, falls in love, tricks him into later joining the fleet etc...

finding sibling fic

I am looking for a story where Kirk is surrounded by alien children, and has a history of taking care of them. I believe they are his adopted siblings (possibly adopted son's and daughters, but I don't think so). I remember one of the kids is half Vulcan or Romulan. Spock is a bit overwhelmed with the number of kids there are. I think that there were hints at Jim/Spock. I believe I read the story on fanfiction.net but I can's seem to find it.
