Reboot: Kirk/McCoy, Sulu/Chekov, RPS-- general requests

This is a bit of a mix bag, I hope you don't mind. Also, my first post here. I'm figuring it works the same way as the other comms like this, at least I hope! :) All are XI requests.

1) I have recently found the love that is Kirk/McCoy. I'm hoping you can help me find some must reads and fandom classics for them. I've only read a small handful in this pairing, so I really will take anything you can give me! Though, I am not yet big on kink with these two. Rough sex is all good, but please leave out the D/s kinda thing. lol. I'm good with anything from gen to NC-17. I do have a addiction to Academy era and character studies. If you could feed that addiction, I would love you endlessly.

2) My OTP is Sulu/Chekov. I know, I know, it's horrible and mock worthy to a lot of the people in this fandom. I don't care. lol. Anyway, I feel that I may have run my course with fics I have yet to read. Please, please, please! Rec me anything that you love. Because there is a chance I have not read it. A link to a rec list or an author is welcome! I have read just about everything by hollycomb. And if you got a stash of HS AU anywhere... *GRABBY HANDS* I am, as above, addicted to Academy era and character studies as well.

3) For the life of me I have had a hard time finding Karl/John or Chris/John fic. I have looked over the reboot_rpf comm. It just wasn't quite my style. Any rec's for those pairings? Have I missed something?

If I have done this wrong, please let me know! I'm still trying to navigate my way through this fandom. And as I normally have someone to teach me what to do... I'm having to learn all on my own as my flist isn't into Star Trek. Wankers. lol. Thanks for any help you can give me!

Personally, I'm no fan of Chekov/Sulu, so no recs on that front from me (though, really, there's no reason to apologize for liking the pairing!) but if you're still looking for Bones/Jim, here are some of my favorites:

Once there was a way to get back home (http://the-dala.livejournal.com/617717.html): Bones shares Jim's bed for years before they actually have sex after the Narada incident. Has a good deal of h/c

And a new one just begun (http://the-dala.livejournal.com/630661.html): Christmas fic! Bones brings Jim home to Georgia with him during the holidays.

The sum of us (http://the-dala.livejournal.com/608653.html): A series of vignettes tracing the evolution of Kirk and McCoy's relationship over the years. Or, five people are let in on the worst-kept secret in the Federation. This one has a teeny bit of C/S for you in as well ;) (Also, I just realized those stories are all from the same author...)

Convergence (http://mijan.livejournal.com/145497.html): This isn't Bones/Jim, exactly, but I think it needs to be mentioned if you're the least bit fond of their characters. Basically, it's a couple of missing scenes from the movie, starting after Pike's delivered Jim his dare and ending after the Starfleet shuttle lands in SF. The sequel And all the king's men (http://mijan.bravehost.com/andallthekingsmen.htm) is also well worth a read.

No-win scenario (http://anne-higgins.livejournal.com/7316.html): Academy years up until the end of the movie. And the revelation of just which no-win scenario the title stands for is like a punch to the gut. (It does have a happy ending).

Yep, still looking for Jim/Bones. I will take as many rec's as people are willing to share! I've yet to get a grip on what is standard in fic for these two. Which just means MORE reading! Such a hardship, you know? lol
