Ancient/Pre-Reform Vulcan stories?

I'm looking for "Ancient Vulcan" stories, i.e. stories that land the characters somehow on a pre-Surak Vulcan via timetravel, or in a parallel universe where Surak never happened or the like. Even AU stories set in the past (though I'd like it to be an extrapolated Vulcan with proper worldbuilding, not some random "desert barbarian" type fic). I'd prefer Reboot, but TOS works too.

(ETA: Hee, just after I posted this I scroll down my flist and see that kyliselle posted a new story, Oasis, matching this. It's like the universe read my mind! *g* I'd still love to find more of course.)

There is The Prize, by Ray Newton, which is a TOS AU, where Jim gets sold to Pre-Reform Vulcan and ends up with warrior Spock. It was originally written in 1981 but I think it's still a rather good story. It is your desert-warrior-clan-camp story, but still rather compelling.

Oh yes, a true classic. I liked that as well, not least because it also works for my slavefic kink. ;)

It seems to have been a popular trope in classic Trek. I've been editing the "Ancient Vulcan" trope page on fanlore and found a couple of zine stories as examples. Unfortunately not all are online.
