Uhura/Scotty and seperate McCoy fic

Hi all.

1)Well, having just been asked out tonight, I would like some fics wherein Scotty asks Uhura out. You see, I am of the old school, and while there are those who find the fact that Uhura and Scotty suddenly got together in the whatever film it was mentioned in, I preferred it to the Spock/Uhura of the new film (I'm sorry, just no, I hate it... probably because I'm a slasher at heart). if you would like to rec fics where Kirk or Spock ask Bones out, I'd be all for that as well.
 

2)I would also like some fics where Uhura and Scotty have been together for a long time, but no one knows , and the two are actually quite domestic with each other, live together and stuff (well Chekov can know... and McCoy, because he would just know these things). No hardcore sex scenes or stories without some sort of plot. Maybe Scotty is takig Uhura home for the forst time, or better yet, Uhura taking him home. How they both keep a relationship working despite theirintense jobs, etc. etc.

3)McCoy... Just... McCoy. Preferably gen, or Spock/McCoy or Kirk/McCoy, no threesomes please. But I would prefer friendship fics for this request to be honest. stories that have a lot of bickering McCoy Spock moments, and are based planetside. i would like fics that are like the episode Miri, where McCoy does something stupidly bravejust because he thinks he should, or fics like the one where spock went into Ponfarr, only with a biger emphasis on McCoy obviously, or even fics like the one where they lost Kirk,only like Bones goes missing and it's about Kirk and Spock thinking on their friendship with him and what they'll do to get him back. Just something that's heavily mcCoy, and about their friendship.

4) is there a reboot fic out there that has McCoy either learning that he is going to suffer Xenopolycythemia, or actually suffering it. Maybe the sympton's show early because of exposure of a certai atmosphere, and then there's a race against time to find the astorid that the cure is on because Spock Prime has died or something...

More reeboot xenopolycythemia here (http://anne-higgins.livejournal.com/7642.html), in the second part of anne_higgins' Bring it On (http://anne-higgins.livejournal.com/7316.html) series. Start with the first part, it's Kirk/McCoy, and really sweet in a suitably grouchy way :)

On your other requests I don't have much, since I hardly ever read gen or het, but one of the best McCoy fics I've ever read is The Trust of a Bonding (http://www.squidge.org/peja/cgi-bin/viewstory.php?sid=4788) by KVWylie. It's McCoy slash an original character, very long, plotty, action-packed, and really highlights the awesomeness of the Doctor.
