McCoy Fics

startrekficfinderI'm looking for a fic I read a very long time ago.
McCoy ends up taking control of the bridge when something happens. Afterwards he finds out that it was all Kirks idea to get him to take the command test. It was a good fic and I would love to reread it.
Also, any fics where someone takes McCoys comments to Spock the wrong way and takes him to task over his racist behaviour. I love the snark between them, and it might be my imagination but I like to think its a little fond smirk on spocks face when things get to that point. To sum, Somene takes McCoy to task about his racist sounding comments, but Spock sets them straight because as often as not he is the one who pushes bones to that point.
And lastly, can I have a fic where Bones starts to feel underappreciated by both Jim and Spock. Just watching the Wrath of Khan as I write this and am at the scene where they're going down to the station and Spock says "Jim, be careful." and McCoys said "WE will." it made me think, are there any fics where Bones starts to feel left out and that's when he starts taking risks like in Miri and Empath and finally Jim and spock realise what they're doing to their friend and start to really look after him. Just something where Bones is being looked after and treated with the respect he totally deserves! if there be slash, please no Kirk! McSpock only please, or gen.
