A few requests for K/S fic

Just to make sure I haven't missed any fandom gems. :)

1. I'd like some Kirk/Spock fics that feature oblivious!Kirk. As in, the most obliviously oblivious Kirk that ever obliviated in an oblivious way. Would especially love if the rest of the crew (and even a few aliens they come across on various planets) catch on to Spock's feelings for him waaaay before Kirk himself does.

2. Single father!Kirk fics. I've read the one where he has the half-Vulcan kid. Just looking for more adorkable interactions between Kirk and a miniature version of himself, preferably with Spock involved in some way, shape, or form.

3. Finally--and I feel absolutely horrible for asking this--after reading the fic mentioned above, I kind of want to see some K/S fics featuring a less-than-stellar Uhura. I'm not looking for her to win a Super Galactic Bitch Award, but maybe fics where she's not too nice to Kirk, or reacts poorly to his developing relationship with Spock. This is more out of curiosity than anything else--I kind of want to see how people portray Uhura when she's not being her usual awesome, beautiful self.

Should probably mention that I've poked through most of the relevant tags on this community, so I'm really looking for fics people may not have recced before. Also, I'm only familiar with Reboot!verse, so would vastly prefer stories in that realm.

You may have already come across it, but Wingman (http://kyliselle.livejournal.com/11172.html) by kyliselle is almost the quintessential oblivious!Kirk story, and it's hilarious. There's also a sequel written by another author, that picks up the ball and runs with it delightfully: The Learning Curve (http://putigress2012.livejournal.com/26648.html) by putigress.

Actually, if you haven't read kyliselle's stuff, she practically specializes in clueless!Kirk, so have at it all.

So, I was totally going to rec an Uhura's-a-bitch-but-not-evil fic that also satisfies the singlefather!jim trope...but then I reread your post and realized that The Balance of Things (http://cagedbirdsings.livejournal.com/50212.html) wouldn't exactly be helpful as you've clearly used it as your example. Sigh.

Umm...if you haven't already read The Perfect Man (http://zoetrope13.livejournal.com/2683.html) by zoetrope13, it's got an Uhura with a tragic case of perspective fail. Again, not evil, but not really completely in character (as I choose to view her) either.

There's also Accidentally in Love (http://ksarchive.com/viewstory.php?sid=2906&textsize=0&chapter=1) by CMM. It's an alien-technology-made-Jim-pregnant-with-Spock's-kid fic. My perspective is that everyone is somewhat OOC, but Uhura is understandably bitter about her boyfriend knocking someone else up. She's a bit of a bitch about it to start but recovers into a decent human being before long.

Hope at least one of those is new and enjoyable for you. Most of the rest of the trope that I've seen have an irredeemably evil!Uhura. If you know of others that fit your criteria, do let me know. I like the Kirk/Spock/Uhura triangle with conflict, but I'm not a fan of out and out Uhura bashing.

Another good oblivious!Kirk fic is You Don't Have To Say Yes by luminousbeings. It also has an extra bonus of his obliviousness fitting really well into his character
