Looking for a Spirk Rec

I'm looking for some fics that deal with Spock's Pon Farr and Nyota not being suitable for it. Either she isn't as compatible, (mentally), with Spock as everyone had thought and/or she isn't able to handle the intensity of Pon Farr.

That's when Jim steps in, in whatever way, but in the end he and Spock wind up together and not Spock and Nyota.

Anyone know any fics that fall into this category?

You've probably seen this one before, but I absolutely have to recommend dreamlittleyo's fabulous series All That We Can Be (http://archiveofourown.org/series/7342). It deals with both Spock's pon farr and the aftermath.

Hi! I'm almost a year late to this comment, but I'd been browsing through this comm's posts, and well, I couldn't help recommend one of my faves: Feathered Frenzy (http://archiveofourown.org/works/591586) by Triskellion. It's a wing!fic with a dash of pon farr near the end. :)
