I gave my old Kindle away and managed to lose a bunch of fic in the process (by being an idiot, lol). There is one fic in particular that I have not been able to find. I checked all the usual suspects (my Kindle archive, bookmarks, rec lists, google, this community... etc), but with no luck

For some reason I cannot seem to remember the name of the author or the fic (I know, that is baaad). Sadness.

So yeah...can someone help out? Here are the details I remember (which are actually a bunch, so the list is kind of long):

1. The fic a long, plotty AU. I'm sure that it is at least novela length (60-100k word count)

2. Kirk is a high-priced call-boy and works out of LA (or maybe San Fran). His roommate and best friend is Bones, who is still a doctor and decidedly does not approve of Kirk's profession. Kirk is not in Starfleet and neither is Bones or Spock. Actually, I think Spock is with a delegation of Vulcan diplomats who are in LA to petition for a separation from the Federation?? Not sure about that particular detail..

3. Spock initially labors under the misconception that Kirk is a tour guide, so he hires Kirk to be his "guide to human behavior" while Spock is in LA. Kirk thinks Spock is using euphemisms/being coy about what he really wants, which Kirk assumes is to experiment and have some kinky sex (by Vulcan standards) with a human while he's on earth.

4. Also, I think... but I am not certain, that the story is somewhat based off of Pretty Woman (it has some similarities)... and may have been written for a kink meme prompt or some other challenge based thing.

It is driving me crazy that I cannot find the fic, considering how many details I've managed to retain about it! Please help!
