Reboot Fics Recs

Are there any reboot  that take place during the movie? Fics that focus what's going on inside the characters' heads. Preferably focusing on Spock and Jim.   I've read plenty that take place after and before but very little during.

Last night I started reding a long Kirk/Spock fic, but I stopped at abou one AM with the intention of picking it back up in the morning. One problem: I cn't remember where it was. I could have sworn I found it through crack_van, but I can't find it there.

It was a reboot fic where the crew, plus Spock Prime, came across Kirk Prime in the Nexus. upon discovering that their older counterparts were in a relationship, Kirk and Spock decide that they want to give it a shot. Also, there's some stuff about an angry, grief-stricken pair of cousins attacking Spock Prime and later Kirk because they're crazy, if that helps narrow it down.

I've only just really got into Star Trek fic and I missed bookmarking some fics as I started reading. I'm looking for a reboot fic set after the end of the movie. All I can remember is one scene where Spock reaches to touch Jim's face, I'm pretty sure it was completely innocent, and Jim totally freaks out that he's going to try a meld. I think Bones was there to but I'm not sure, and Spock is furious that Spock Prime had melded with Jim.

Does this ring a bell with anyone?

are there any fics that are daemon au's? you know, the soul-animals from golden compass.

i'm really interested in how that would work, re: transporters and alien daemons. like do the daemons have to be on the sending pad as well or do they just appear next to their people at their destination? and is spock's a sehlat?
