McCoy/Spock Fic -- FOUND

I have no idea how, but I keep losing this fic. I have check my rec list and my saved fics, but I just can't find it.

It's a McCoy/Spock fic. Before the fic starts, there was a battle with a Romulan ship. Romulans boarded, and at some point ended up in sickbay. McCoy saved one of their lives, and that man then killed some Security personnel -- and it turned out he was actually the captain of his own ship. McCoy is, of course, feeling terrible about this, and it doesn't help that Pike sent him a letter that pretty much said McCoy was a terrible person.

Enter Spock, who has no idea what is going on, other than McCoy is spiraling downward. He locks McCoy in his (Spock's) quarters and makes him write a resume so that he can see what he'd been doing -- or he writes one for him, I don't remember. I do know that he gets a whole bunch of McCoy's favorite books for him.

At some point between the attack and Spock locking him away and their romance beginning, McCoy learns some Romulan. When the other ship shows up again, McCoy starts yelling at the captain, who he recognizes. He says that the man owes him a debt, and that he wants the Enterprise and it's crew to make it to the Neutral Zone or what have you. The man agrees, and Pike sends that tape into the universe, which prompts Romulan/Federation peace. (Also, it turns out that Pike never meant to send the letter after McCoy shows Spock and a confrontation goes down.)

Lapisbird's reply to Kink Meme gone missing

I'm trying to find the fic 'We take what we are given' which was a reply to a kink meme prompt about Spock being touch starved. The link on the meme doesn't work any more, does anyone know if this fic is posted elsewhere?

Description: Written for this prompt at the STXI Kink Meme: Spock is touch starved....After a while, he's willing to get picked up by any random psi in a bar...He starts doing this every shore leave, and does the 23rd century version of the walk of shame every time (I would love to see this most of all, to be honest....) Kirk happens to observe this ritual one shore leave when one of Spock's telepathic one nighters gets rough with Spock in the bar. He doesn't quite get it (although he seethes with jealous anyway) until Spock comes limping back to the ship to lick his wounds the next morning....They do it the way Spock is used to being treated by his hook ups, and Kirk hates it. He then proceeds to tie Spock to his bed and show him what losing yourself with someone for a while through dominance and submission is meant to be like.
