Kirk/McCoy-Dom/Sub Universe
Aug. 26th, 2014 02:17 pmjem80.livejournal.comHey everyone, I need help finding a fic. I believe it’s academy era, with Jim and Bones being soulmates in some sort of Dom/sub universe? Jim is the sub and he doesn’t want to be bonded but over time he comes to peace with it. It had scenes near the end with them visiting respective parents, with bones dad being the sub partner. Then they visit Jim’s mom to find her being abused by Frank so Bones reports it and saves her. Pretty sure it was a multi-chapter fic and I read it on Ao3. Sound familiar to anyone? Any help would be appreciated!!!

Kirk happens to observe this ritual one shore leave when one of Spock's telepathic one nighters gets rough with Spock in the bar. He doesn't quite get it (although he seethes with jealous anyway) until Spock comes limping back to the ship to lick his wounds the next morning....They do it the way Spock is used to being treated by his hook ups, and Kirk hates it. He then proceeds to tie Spock to his bed and show him what losing yourself with someone for a while through dominance and submission is meant to be like.

1. While being adventurous they invite McCoy to join them. Bones is put off by by Jim's submissive roll in the relationship. His response upsets Jim. When Spock finds out he fixes it by adjusting McCoy's memory (off screen). There a later conversation between Jim and Bones in sick bay after Jim is recovering from on assault where Jim was going to mention a detail about him kneeling and then remembered that McCoy's knowledge of their relationship had been removed.
2. During a visit to Vulcan Spock and Jim are visiting Sarek. Sulu calls Kirk. Spock gets pissed off at Kirk for talking to other people. Sarek chews Spock out for punishing his bond mate for things that are out of his control. I think Spock and Sarek were sitting at a table while Kirk was kneeling on the floor.
3. Kirk is sexually assaulted by another Vulcan.
4. When Kirk would get restless, Spock would send him out to other partners. Spock viewed it as indulging Kirk's taste for variety. Kirk viewed it as a punishment. They found out about the dichotomy in one of the last scenes in the fic.

Anywho, I really enjoyed that type of story for some reason and was hoping I could find more fics with Jim needing to use any kind of safeword or need to "tap out" during a scene or something, hopefully with some angst and hurt/comfort thrown in. Good evening everyone. I'm looking for a specific fic about Kirk and Spock that I read a few years back and recently remembered by accident.
The things I can remember are:
- I think it was TOS.
- Kirk going into Spock rooms for something (chess?) and finding there some magazines and videos of BDSM nature that reaaaally shocked him: it was Vulcan porn (I think?) about a human boy and a Vulcan in a very BDSM relationship. Spock finds him there, watching, and starts to explain some elements of the film to Kirk, who is not taking it very well.
- Don't know why, but Kirk is fighting Spock, who wants them to enter in a BDSM relationship. I remember something about Spock ambushing Kirk in a hallway to tease him and then leave him there or something.
- I remember clearly that Kirk didn't want to accept the "sub" part of his personality because of a trauma in his childhood or something... a friend with whom he used to do those things and got killed I think...
- McCoy also makes an appearance, tracking Kirk's mental health tests or something...
Well, those are the highlights of what I remember, but I hope you guys could help me find this fic... I really, REALLY, want to read it again.
