Amanda/ Sarek Fic

I have recently found that I just love Amanda/Sarek stories.  I am looking for slow building stories that focus on the relantionship building and character exploration.  I like stories where it doesn't seem like they will just get together from the start.  there should be some learning about each other and conflit (but conflict that makes sense)

Also I like Smart! Amanda and difficult/annoyingly logical Sarek.  The longer the FIC the better and complete, if possible.  I love how "the native" has such strong background characters; I felt so invested in the whole cast and the world just came alive.

SO, thought I'd share two RECs and see if you wonderful people got any others!  <3

This is a classic from the 1970s that (to the best of my knowledge) is not available online, but you might get hold of the print zines elsewhere -- Jean Lorrah's "Night of the Twin Moons universe collection.

Here's a link to order from the author (no idea if it's still valid, though, sorry).

Your mention of Night of the Twin Moons caught my eye - I actually owned a copy, nearly 30 yeas ago, but along with many such things in life, I have no idea what happened to it.

Thanks, but I do have the 'zine from way back -- as well as all the NTM 'zines. :) What I'd really like to see online, though, are the Sahaj stories -- the kid is just too cute, and Daddy!Spock is adorable!

I've never heard of the Sahaj stories - are they as old as Kraith? I guess they must be if they're not online. Who was the author?

About as old as Kraith, yes, if not older -- and not too-widely known even back then -- the early eighties -- IIRC. The premise is, a young Spock on his first deep space mission undergoes a forced Pon Farr (I forget how) and a Vulcan diplomat "helps" him out. She gets pregnant, has the baby, and pretty much lets the boy run wild all over the galaxy as she moves from post to post, Then she dies, and Sahaj gets shipped off to the Enterprise and a Spock who had no idea he even HAD a son ... much less one who's essentially a 10-year-old HUMAN, with abandonment issues on top.

Hilarity ensues, especially once "Uncle Jim" and "Uncle Len" enter the picture, and Sahaj forms a close relationship with McCoy, much to Spock's chagrin. Then enter Sarek and Amanda ...

I've forgotten the auhor's name and am on vacation until the weekend, so I can't look it up right now, sorry. But I can do that on Sunday, if you like, and PM you?

Thank you, I belatedly thought to check fanlore.org and read about it.
Pity they aren't available, I'd like to read them.
Oh well, one day perhaps.
