I've been going over some of my old archived stuff and remembered an old Voyager fic that I seemed to have lost.

It was, as far as I remember, never finished, but I would like to read it again to see if it is as good as my memory tells me and archive it with the rest of the fanfiction I've downloaded over the years.

The story is angsty, Torres/Paris pairing. Tom was never at Caldik Prime, but was in fact recruited by a secret Fleet organisation (I think called something with Alpha or Omega) in his first years or shortly before joining the Academy (yes, his father is in on it). He was planted first in the Marquis and later at the Auckland facility to get into first the Marquis (duh) and later the Voyager.

He's been living undercover for a while and are in a budding relationship with B'Lanna, but Chakotay, the nosy bugger, falls over his classified file in the Voyager databank and uses an Admiral level password to access it. At the same time on the bridge, Tuvok notices this access and in order to track the hacker, for some reason (I think a tech glith was mentioned) brings up the file on the main screen and the gig is up, The rest of the crew finds out and Tom is alienated from the crew, his friendship with Harry and his relationship with B'lanna is on the rocks.


I also seem to recall something about him getting in touch, and saving, a bunch of aliens who gifts him with a kickass deltaflyer sized spaceshipt with an AI and a cloak I think he ends up living on it as his relationships onboard the Voyager sours.

Naomi (gotta love little kids) and her mother ends up being amongst the few people not cutting him off.

I seem to recall that his real rank is actually over that of Captain Janeway and Chakotay muttering about who about his ship was actually working for him as Tuvoc was Janeways man, Seska was a cardassian spy and now Paris was StarFleet.

I think the version I read was on either Tripod or Angelfire, but thats a guess........
