Hello Star Trek fandom! It's been awhile! Therefore, I am looking for some stuff to get me back into Jim/Bones fanfic. Specifically, there is this one Tarsus fic I cannot find for the life of me and all I remember of it is Jim taking language lessons. Which, I realize, may describe MANY Tarsus fics...so send me all of them. :-D

Alternatively, any long, angsty (with happy endings) Jim&Bones centric (romantic or platonic) fics are welcome. I uh...went a little cray with the tags...but I figured instead of listing everything I like here I could just do it there. :)

And All The King's Men by mijan: In a sim, Jim remembers Tarsus IV and how a Vulcan had suppressed the memory. Trying to get Jim's spirit back, a set up is planned but goes awry when Bones and he are actually kidnapped.

Deadly Sin by sloth: Six Times Kirk didn't talk about Tarsus IV, and two times he had to.

oh yes, i was rereading AATKM before starting the 4th in the series, and that's what made me think about the other fic.

The fic you are thinking of is, I think, Graduate Vulcan for Fun and Profit. It is an awesome fic--I haven't even read it for at least a year, and all I remember is that it was awesome, with an awesome Kirk. I should re-read it too :-)
