Hello! First time posting here. There is a fic where Bones get caught in a cave in with Jim outside. He tells Jim that he is fine and to go on ahead back to the Enterprise. I think someone else was injured and Jim had to go back asap. The thing is that Jim asks if Bones is ok and the Doctor says he is perfectly fine, so Jim goes. Turns out he wasn't and Jim is pissed because they found him half dead and he had just LEFT Bones there. I was sure I had it saved but I don't know if I'm forgetting to do so, or if FFNet and Archiveofourown are deleting my favs. Anyone know the fic I'm talking about? I don't remeber if it's one fic or like a chapter of a whole. I think it was gen. Thanks in advance!

So I read this fic a while ago (on AO3 probs). Spock was with Uhura and then he was with Kirk (idk if it was an affair or they broke up or something) but then Kirk was pregnant and Spock with like the full backing of the Vulcan High Council puts Kirk in a facility until he gives birth and then plans to raise the baby with Uhura. Spock Prime rescues Jim and they live with the baby on some backwater planet basically fugitives. Eventually Kirk comes back and Spock is less of a dick but I can't find this fic anywhere!!

Hey y'all. I'm trying to find a fic that I remember in which Kirk has to call someone (I think a pirate) while on the bridge. He has Uhura pull up the comm info and then says call them, then freaks out and says not to, and then has her call them before he says no again. I think the person was a pirate or someone, and they joke about how he had punched Kirk and that Kirk had left him for jail. Everyone on the bridge is kinda weirded out by the conversation and Spock asks all the questions after. Might have ties to Tarsus IV, I think Kirk was calling the pirate dude because he needed someone to get through an embargo or something similar to Tarsus, or the dude new about Tarsus, or something. I think it was a part of a longer fic but idk at this point. Any help is appreciated, thank you!!!

Let me start by saying that I am familiar only with the original Star Trek episodes so I have no idea how much of this story follows canon and how much of it is strictly AU.

I remember several parts of the story clearly, but not the title, or author, and I have a vague feeling it was incomplete. I also think it was probably a Sentinel fusion, with Kirk and Spock as the S/G pair, but I could be wrong about that. If it was a fusion, I likely read it on Keira Marcos' Rough Trade site, but I've looked through the links posted for past stories on that site and didn't find it. (But, not all authors post links to their work once the site is cleared for a new challenge.)

It begins shortly after the Enterprise has been involved in evacuating a large number of Vulcans from their planet (that was, I think, subsequently destroyed in some sort of attack.) At least one other Federation ship was destroyed, most of that crew perished, in the course of the events that led up to or were involved in the evacuation/rescue.

The Enterprise has been sent back to Earth, (or whatever planet the Academy is on) and Kirk offers the use of his private home to Spock and Spock's parents who are on the Enterprise with them. Kirk's home was previously owned by a Vulcan ambassador and Kirk had never changed many of the aspects that had made it Vulcan-friendly such as having a meditation room, and having Vulcan menu items in the kitchen automation.

Kirk and Spock undergo a hostile Review Board inquiry about the destruction of the other ship. One of the members of the Board lost a close relative (son? grandson? nephew?) who was part of the crew, and wants to blame his death on Kirk and Spock's actions.

One part that I distinctly remember is that Kirk discusses with Spock some gossip Spock had been told about how badly Kirk had ended a relationship with a girl in the past, but Kirk explains he dumped her when she tried to lie about using birth control in order to get "accidentally" pregnant by him, when he'd made it clear he wasn't looking for that type of relationship.

I hope this is enough information that someone recognizes it, and could point me where to find it.

I recently read a story but can't remember the title. Jim is called before the admiralty questioning something he has done. Pike defends him and Archer says that they can't expect him to disagree with his grandson or something like that. Turns put Pike raised Jim and Archer raised Pike.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?

So this is a little bit of an unusual fic, I read it years ago on someone's personal website, I think? I know it wasn't lj, FF, Ao3, or Dreamwidth or anything. The pairing was Mccoy/OMC, with the OMC being a Vulcan. It might have been TOS Mccoy, I don't remember, all I remember is that the Vulcan specifically requested Mccoy help him try to find a cure/immunization against a type of Vulcan mental degeneration disease and Mccoy agreed, and moved to Vulcan to live there while they researched (I think it was something like, three years or so? I don't know, a long time). The other things I remember is that Mccoy and the Vulcan had to maintain a shallow mind-meld, in order to share ideas more clearly, which ended up accidentally bonding them; also that they managed to grow a plant that mimicked part of (or all of?) the Vulcan brain to try and figure out where the disease was attacking, but the plant turned out to be very unstable and would explode sometimes without warning. Mccoy ended up naming these pockets after something in a Carrol Lewis poem - Boojums and Snarks, I believe.

If anyone could help me find this fic again, I'd greatly appreciate it!

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for fics where Spock meets Frank or Winona under less than auspicious circumstances. Basically I'm looking for fics where Frank or Winona have been bad parents and they show up (preferably post 2009 movie) looking for Jim for whatever reason. I'd like Spock to be with Jim when they appear and for the confrontation to turn nasty and Spock or Jim's protective sides show. I've read:

Anything recs that feature a Frank/Spock/Winona scene like the ones in the fics above would be awesome!

This fic was pretty old, I believe, I think I might have read it on an independent archive (old fashioned webpage type), which is probably why I'm having trouble finding it.

Basic rundown: the daughter of human archeologist on vulcan gets betrothed to a vulcan boy as a child, vulcan style. I think the boy's father was the girl's father's coworker.
Way later in the story things go awry; I remember that the girl was raped and ended up really insecure about the betrothal. I'm fuzzy on the details, but I think her mother wasn't a shining example for humanity? Oh, and the last bit had the obligatory Pon Farr suspense.

I remember early in the story that the archeologists had found some glass objects (bottles?) and a comment about vulcans making glass very early in their history because they didn't have clay.

There was an eventual happy ending.

It's really bugging me right now, so any help would be appreciated.

FOUND: It was actually on AO3, though the author is old. I had also been reading stuff at House of Tucker at the time, which is probably why I thought I'd read it on an old fashioned archive.

Hello again!

There was this fic where Spock was going into pon farr while he was still a professor at the academy and I can't remember why but he was only drawn to Jim for some reason. They really didn't like each other at first (and Bones dutifully loathed Spock, as Jim's over-protective friend) but Jim went for it because he was into D/S (because, you know, messed up childhood and stuff). I think. Um, anyway, there was this cousin of Spock's who had two kids, she was a widower. She ends up with Bones, if I remember right. In all honesty, I really don't remember much at all, but I do remember that Spock and Jim go to a club that was attached to the Orion Embassy... which ends up in a fight with some Orion dude Jim used to see.

Serious lack of info, I know. I do apologize. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks :)

I’m wondering if anyone can point me to any stories that feature Jim Kirk’s grandfather Jim Ogaleesha Davis? Or have Jim reference the Lakota (Sioux) side of his mother's family at all? Maybe Jim speaking Lakota or having a Giveaway Ceremony a year after Sam’s death just for an example?

It's been a long time, so I'm a little fuzzy on the details, but here's the basics- In the MU, Kirk harrasses McCoy by making him submit to some kind of creature with tentacles. Only, McCoy not only enoys it, the creature actually starts to help McCoy out in sickbay and protect him from outside threats. I think it might have been from the kink meme. There also might have been Kirk/McCoy sex as well, but I'm not 100 percent sure.

ETA- I can't get the tags to work. I click on them and nothing happens. If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.

I just watched "Improbable Cause" and "The Die Is Cast" and absolutely loved the stuff between Garak and Odo. If there's anything as an episode tag to TDIC or any other kind of fic with Garak and Odo floating around, I'd be infinitely grateful. Gen works, slash does too. Thankee.

I`m looking for two TOS fics that are pre-2009, not on LJ and may have been written at least 4 years ago.

1) It is a McCoy/vulcan!OMC pairing. McCoy has to spend a longer period of time on Vulcan for research. He is *not* happy about it. McCoy and his research partner, a Vulcan scientist, grow a huge (sentient?) plant that tends to, er, move (?). The plant gets kidnapped. McCoy and the Vulcan fall in love.

2) This is very vague and I`m sorry about that. I only remember there was human!pr0n sold on Vulcan (a character discovered another`s, possibly Sarek`s pr0n stash). The human!pr0n consisted of ladies splashing around in water and licking ice cream off their fingers or sth similar.

I have read this prompt or summary somewhere, I have forgotten. The summary said Kirk likes Spock and there is another member of starfleet who aboard USS Enterprise and know all the Vulcan culture and custom and really likes Spock as well. And he said, Kirk is not good enough for Spock and everything.

So I'm not sure if it is in a dream, or I have read it somewhere. Thank you so much in advance.

A few years ago I read this great DS9 gen fic...it was really long and well-written and plotted. There was a big battle around Bajor and the good guys had very little resources. At one point Kira and Jadzia Dax go to a moon in the Bajoran system to get some old fighters that the Bajoran Resistance used. And there was mention made a few times about Kira's "sixth node," as in the nose ridges, which meant that she was a respected elder/had reached the crone stage.

Also, any and all Next Gen Data/Geordi fic that's in-character.

Hello!

I'm looking for a Kirk/McCoy fic where Kirk cheats on Bones (specifically with a purple alien chick). McCoy finds out after he saw them together at a bar and decides to break it off with Jim. Throughout the story Jim starts to avoid McCoy and then tries to get back together with him when McCoy gets hurt. It all ends when McCoy starts dating -and I think marrying- Marlena Moreau.
